This policy explains what information Cogar Consulting ("we", "us") collects through businessconsultant.tech (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, the service you are interested in (if you pick one) and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss a possible engagement.
When you book a discovery call, you do so on TidyCal, which collects the details its booking form asks for under its own privacy policy. Calls take place on Zoom, under Zoom's privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site's hosting records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to run and secure the Site.
The Site uses Google Tag Manager, which may load Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the Site. These tools set cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy. They load only after you first scroll, tap or move the mouse on a page. You can block them with your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the Site and provides Turnstile, a spam check on the contact form.
- GoHighLevel stores contact form submissions in our customer relationship manager so we can follow up.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measure Site usage.
- TidyCal handles discovery call scheduling, and Zoom hosts the calls.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of the engagement and our normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by sending a request through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS, and form submissions go directly to our systems over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The Site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
